Granted, at a glance the classic white wood and grey cross-paned cabins might seem so Nantucket, but stare out and look around into the wildness of the eucalypt strewn ridges and streams. This is the part of the world that inspired Banjo Paterson to write "The Man from Snowy River" back in 1896.
